So, I know, I’m terrible. Haven’t blogged in months, maybe, but I thought I would share my latest development.
I. Love. Seth. Cohen.
And I love the OC, which I must say, has single-handedly gotten me through the recovery of getting all four of my wisdom teeth out. Well, that and some serious painkillers, but, honestly, the OC has done more for me than medicine has.
This has honestly become one of my favorite shows out of nowhere. First off, there’s the soundtrack, which is like an old friend, reminiscent of the tracks I would sing along to in middle school. Then there’s the fact that half the characters like The Golden Girls, which may not be a deal breaker, but definitely confirmed my love for the show. I even caught myself laughing out loud and talking to myself (hope you don’t think I’m crazy here) twice while watching this show. For all of the above, I am now officially an OC fan.
I will, soon, hopefully, probably, be starting my literary project again. I know, sounds like an empty promise, but I shall try my best!
I suck, I know. I haven’t blogged in so long, but mainly its because I haven’t made any progress on A Tale of Two Cities. I tried, I really did, even if it was only one time. I tried to read the first chapter and felt myself slowly wandering into a deep sleep. I suck. Really. So I’m going to give it another go and try to read that book again and tackle the everlasting list of novels I can’t seem to make smaller.
That is part of the beauty of literature. You discover that your longings are universal longings, that you’re not lonely and isolated from anyone. You Belong.
Everyone needs to share this with everyone they know! Spread the word! Watching this video has made me realize that even those things in the world that seem bigger than ourselves, that seem bigger than one nation, can be influenced. Individuals can make a change and its when someone doesn’t think they can make a change is when no changes are made. I realized that changing the world can seem impossible, but only if you try to save it all at once. If you focus on one project at a time, then you can make a difference! Even though this world is a big place, it’s all about the small things.
